“Raw Earth” is a series of pieces, predominantly functional, made from clay I have processed from the clay soils in the Tapawera forest. I love the ‘grunt’ of this clay. It has quite alot of organic matter and bits of chunky quartz; this means little perfect imperfections; all part of the whole.
